Patient Participation Group
Rossendale Valley Medical Practice is committed to improving the services we provide to our patients.
To do this, it is vital that we hear from people like you about your experiences, views, and ideas for making services better.
If you are interested in getting involved, please contact the Practice.
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of active volunteer patients working in partnership with Practice Staff and Dr Ibrahim. The PPG act as a critical friend to the practice providing a patients perspective ensuring services, plans and activities respond to patients needs and priorities.
We meet as and when necessary with practice staff to discuss relevant activity.
Aims of The Patient Group
- To Foster communication with the wider patient population building stronger patient – doctor relationships.
- Provide practical support to practice teams e.g. conducting and analysing patient surveys, organising health awareness events.
- Encourage those with long-term and/or multiple health conditions to gain confidence in managing and taking control of their health care.
- Help other patients take more responsibility for their health and make informed decisions.
If you feel you would like to become a member of the Rossendale Valley Medical Practice PPG or require further information please ask at reception to speak to Caroline or Clare. You can also register your interest online by clicking on the image opposite
By expressing your interest, you will be helping us to plan ways of involving patients that suit you.
It will also mean we can keep you informed of opportunities to give your views and up to date with developments within the Practice.
